A needle roller bearing is a type of rolling-elements bearing that usesballs to maintain the separation between the bearing races.

The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads its achieves this by using at least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads through the balls in most applications, one race is stationary and the other is attached to the rotating assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft). As one of the bearing races rotates it causes the balls to rotate as well becuase the balls are rolling they have a much lower coefficien of friction than if two flat surfaces were sliding against each other.

Ball bearings tend to have lower load capacity for their size than other kinds of rolling-element bearing due to the smaller contact area between the balls and races however they can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races.


Tapered roller bearings are separable roller bearings.The tappered roller are guided in tapered raceways.The roller set is retained by the cage to the inner ring (cone)between guide flange and locating flange. The outer ring (cup)is loose .Tappered roller bearing equally support radials and axial load.


Cylindrical roller bearing are separable radial roller bearings.Bearings are available with pressed steel cage or machined brass cage. The roller and cage assembly is generally located on the raceway having two integral flangesand the other raceway is separable thus the O/R and I/R can be mounted seperately.we have added cost effective cage less bearing in our range.


Spherical roller bearing are made for heavy duty application.They feature two rows of symmetrical barrel rollers which can align freely in the spherical outer ring raceway thus compensating for shaft deflections and misalignment of the bearing seats. Spherical roller bearings have a maximum number of long rollers with a large diameter.The close contact between the roller and raceways yield a uniform stress distribution and a high load carrying capacity.


A needle roller bearing is a bearing which uses small cylindrical rollers. The difference between a needle roller bearing and a roller bearing is a ratio of diameter and length of their roller.

Needle bearings have a large surface area that is in contact with the bearing outer surfaces compared to ball bearings, Additionally there is less added clearance (difference between the diameter of the shaft and the diameter of the bearing ) so they are much more compact. The typical stucture consists of a needle cage which orients and contains the needle roller the needle roller themselves and outer race.
